Dey Money is an online marketplace connecting cattlemen with day-working cowboys. It keeps scheduling, expectations, communication, and payment in one place so cattle work stays simple and nobody has to chase a check.

Anyone who owns cattle, manages cattle, or works cattle may create a profile.

Absolutely. Choose a dual-use account and switch between Cowboy and Cattleman modes with the same login.

Few things are free in this world. Your Dey Money profile won't cost you a dollar.

Dey Money is for work involving cattle or working horses—not general farm labor. Jobs may include branding, gathering, weaning, doctoring, vaccinating, sorting, shipping, preg checking, loading cattle, and catching strays.

That depends on how the cattleman posts it. Open jobs are shown to qualified cowboys who meet the job criteria. Selected and Invite Only jobs are visible only to the cowboys chosen for those opportunities.

It means you're willing and able to show up, meet the stated expectations, and put in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Don't offer unless you intend to follow through.

Every invitation includes a response deadline. Most invitations allow 72 hours for jobs scheduled well in advance and 12–24 hours for jobs approaching quickly. Urgent jobs may require a faster response.

Unanswered invitations simply expire—they aren't counted against you.

Every job includes a crew confirmation deadline. Once the cattleman locks the crew, you'll immediately receive a notification letting you know whether you've been confirmed or whether the crew has already been filled.

The cattleman should update the job as soon as possible. Confirmed cowboys will automatically be notified and asked to confirm whether they're available for the new date.

The crew will be notified as soon as possible. If the job is canceled before anyone travels, payment will be handled according to the job's cancellation terms. If cowboys have already traveled or incurred meaningful expense, the cattleman may compensate them during Crew Close-Out.

The cattleman decides how to close out the crew based on the circumstances. When cowboys have already traveled or made a good-faith effort to show up, paying something for fuel, travel, and their time is usually the right thing to do. Good hands understand that weather and cattle can change the plan, and fair treatment preserves working relationships.

The cattleman secures the crew by paying when the crew is locked. Payment is securely processed through Stripe before the job takes place.

Payment Confirmed means Stripe has successfully processed the cattleman's payment for the job.

Payment Secured tells the cowboy that the cattleman's payment has already been confirmed. Payout begins after Crew Close-Out.

After the job, the cattleman completes Crew Close-Out. Undisputed payments begin processing immediately afterward.

The cattleman closes out each crew member individually.

• No Show – normally no payment and may affect reputation.

• Left Early – may receive partial payment.

• Excused – no reputation penalty.

• Disputed payments go under review without delaying the rest of the crew.

The cattleman pays Dey Money's service fee and payment-processing costs. Cowboys receive the advertised day rate. We keep fees low so they're a small cost compared to the convenience of building and paying a dependable crew.

Dey Money isn't a public cowboy directory. Your profile is shown only when you're relevant to a job, receive an invitation, offer to help, or have previously worked with that cattleman.

Your phone number stays private until you're confirmed on a crew. It's then shared only with the people who need it for that job.

Reviews are confidential. Dey Money records who submitted them for accountability, but reviewer identities and individual comments aren't shown publicly.

Your public reputation appears only after you've completed enough jobs with multiple different users. This helps ensure ratings reflect consistent performance instead of one experience.

Yes. Your Cowboy reputation and Cattleman reputation are earned independently and displayed separately.

Cattlemen can begin posting jobs in September 2026.

We're launching across the High Plains first, including southeast Colorado, southwest Kansas, and the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles.

There isn't much use in cattlemen posting jobs before there are dependable cowboys to invite. Building profiles first means the very first jobs posted will already have qualified hands ready to go.
